I'm just wondering if two differnet computers can work on the same Word file
over a network at the same time. When I tryed one of the computers displayed
the Word file as Read Only.

No, only one user at a time can have a document open for editing.

No, that's definitely not allowed. Only one user at a time gets write
access to a document.
