Up until recently I have been downloading pics from the Web with no problem. Recently when the computer "save picture" window comes up to "SAVE" and the file is listed automatically as "untitled" and the "Save as type" is automatically "bitmap" and not "jpeg" or other origincal files. This is bothersome since I then have to relabel the picture to store it. What is wrong and how can I correct it?

TOOLS menu|OPTIONS. Delete the TEMP files, including off-line content.

Clear your internet cache. Open IE and click on the tools button, select
internet options. On the general tab, click the Delete Files button.

If you get an Untitled.BMP when trying to save an Internet Image, cancel,
refresh with F5 (View/Refresh) and retry; that means that some of the page
was interrupted and did not arrive complete, especially when you don't get
the entire picture top-to-bottom. At least, you can download the image.

Cleaning Internet Temporary Files is still good maintenance procedure, due
to all the garbahe floating in cyberspace.
