Can anyone tell me how to delete multiple objects from a Word document?

I copied and pasted into Word a book's table of contents, from a
publisher's website. The resulting Word table has one column full of
little square bullets, which are apparently pictures.
How can I delete all of them?

Thanks for your help.

Delete the column. With the cursor anywhere in the offending column, select,
Table, Delete, Column.
