    - Printing word booklet 2007 I'm trying to print a small booklet that I've designed in word 2007 - I'm using a laserjet 5mp printer and have set the dialog box to manual duplex and it prints fine except the pictures move around on the pages! I've formated the text box to lock anchor, and it has absolute positioning checked - which I think is a default as I didn't mark this. In the Advanced Layout option under picture position - there are several options - one is a book layout - should this be checked instead of just alignment? and if so, what do I make the margins? When the software was installed you chose not to install support for macros or controls" I have tried all the settings in the macro settings in the trust centre but still get the same warning box.     - Survey with grouped option buttons I have a survey I created, with grouped option buttons that have been e-mailed to many hundreds of our employees. They fill out the survey and send it back via e-mail. Everything was fine until this morning, when I was suddenly unable to open the attached surveys. I have tried saving to a folder, changing name slightly for eadh and then opening directly from WOrd, double clicking the attachment, rightclicking and selecting Open.     - Making users fill in the form in Word Hello, I've got a form that I send out to our partners, but the proble is that more often than not, they return the form not fully completed How can I make it that, if they don't fill in part of the form it wil not let them save it? or an 'alert' message will pop up?     - Word 2007 - where is outline numbering????? How the hell do I change the format of my outline numbering in my Heading 1 style. This style has a alpha prefix to the number, and was created in Word 97. I now want to add an underline to my numbering and text, but when I click on Modify to any styles, there is only an option to change the Number format and not the Outline number format.     - Need help with Find and Replace using Regular Expressions I'm trying to search for instances of "St" in the middle of a word (uppercase S, lowercase t) so that I can use Find and Replace to correct the casing (as in firSt, laSt). I've come up with the following regular expression string which almost works: [!(<)( )(")(')^13]St It was necessary to add so many exclusions to prevent it from giving me "St" at the beginning of a word or line, after initial quotes, etc. So, this works well except that it highlights not just "St", but the letter preceding it: "rSt", "aSt". This prevents me from using Find and Replace to replace "St" with "st". I can't seem to get a wildcard like ?st to work in the Replace box, so I'm stuck. One of my forms I use for work has auto numbering, where there is: 1. xxxxxxx xxxxxx with the second, and any additional lines lining up underneath the first line. It will do it with just one space between the number 1 and the text, but not two spaces, and that is what I need.     - Bizarre lines - undeletable (W2007) Several of us are collaborating on a document in Word 2007. One gentleman tried to mark a placeholder for something by typing several asterisks in a row and hit enter. The asterisks were immediately converted by Word to a margin-to-margin row of little squares, and I can't delete them. I've highlighted the area on both sides to include the mysterious row of boxes...still nothing. They kinda act like a section break in their resiliency (but in Word 2007 I can't figure out how to tell what section I'm in like I could with previous versions where it was in the status bar) If you hover the mouse over one of the lines, the cursor changes to the same symbol you get in older versions when you hover over a row in a table and you want to make the row taller. Sorry, can't explain this better, but the computer is at work where I don't have Usenet access...trying to do this from memory at home. 1) What happened? 2) How do I get rid of them? 3) How do I prevent this from happening again?     - Landscape format for first Word document not setting properly Dear All I am reading a group of text files from IntermediateFolder and converting to word document and setting font name as courier new ,font size 8 and orientation as landscape.The first word document orientation is not landscape and rest of the documents orientation is landscape.This happens only for first document only.If I interchange the order of the files again the first word document orientation is not landscape but the rest of the documents are in landscape.     - Word 2007 Highlighting Issue Is it possible to change the default for Word when you highlight text immediately after a word it also highlights the word to the left of the highlight. However if you highlight with a space after the word to the left, it leaves it alone. Save Word documents to your hard drive, then copy to the flash drive.
