Thanks

You need to read the replies to your previous message.

What, you didn't like the answers you got the first time?

Sheesh!

I didn't see any of the other messages that supposedly gat you answers. My
suggestion wehn you are saving a Word document is to "Save As..." and use the
dropdown menu. ON my menu it is the 6th choice. Rich Text Format (.rft)

No supposedly about it. The earlier message was two away from this one and
posted only a few hours earlier :(

Graham, Sorry I ruffled your feathers. I didn't see the message at all when
I first viewed this link. It was not connected to this thread, and I didn't
see it. I was on this site to learn something for myself, and saw something
that interested me, and tried to help. I though that was the main purpose
for the postings---not criticizing the poster.

No feathers ruffled, merely pointing out the unnecessary duplication of
effort. The responses to this thread were to encourage the original poster
to read the replies to his original thread.

When accessing via the web interface, it is all too easy to only see half
the picture. If you are joining the happy band who regularly respond to
messages, then you will find it easier to see what is going on if you
access the server directly - if you don't know how to do that, see
http://www.gmayor.com/MSNews.htm .
