    - Macro for Letter Settings Help I am trying to create a Macro in Word 2003. The document is supposed to have a different margin and paper tray on the first page. (I have separate letterhead and 2nd sheet paper trays). There should be a header and a different margin on the second page. I am having trouble changing the margin on the second page. None of these are to my taste, probably by reason of the constraints on their creators, although Monaco is passable. So I downloaded a few others to try them out and came across two problems: - Microsoft Word only displays TrueType fonts. There are others (bitmap fonts .fon) in the \Windows\Fonts folder, including Courier, but they are not shown in the document font list. - It would be useful to change the name of the font to show that it is fixed width, renaming the file has no effect.     - Find & Replace I have both Word 2000 and Word 2002. My question concerns how to do a search and replace. In certain kinds of documents I use an arrow from Insert | Symbols (in fact, I use it often enough that I have it assigned to a key combo). What happens is that if I copy a block of text from a document that contains the arrows, and I then paste special, the arrows are all inserted as a registered trademark symbol (®). The trademark symbol inserts ok in the Find What box, but the arrow doesn't paste into the Replace With box, and so a conventional Find and Replace apparently isn't an option.     - convert long list into a table Hi, I have a long list of words in English, and their corresponding meanings in Japanese. I'd like to convert the list to a table with the English word in one column and the corresponding Japanese word in an adjacent column. I'd formatted the words so that the English word is in one font and size, while the corresponding Japanese word is in a different font and size. There is only a single space separating the English and Japanese words. At the end of each entry is an <ENTER> (new paragraph) Is there any easy way to convert this list into a table??? Hello, I've inherited a document that has added a section break (new section starting on the next page kind of break) at the end of the document and then there is a blank page. I want to get rid of the blank page. However when I delete the last section break, the header, footer and the margin setting will all be gone.     - Help with paragraph formatting Hi Firstly, apologies if this in the wrong group. I am using Word 2003 and consider myself to be quite competent as I have been using Office since version 4.2. I am creating a document that is primarily to be viewed via a PC, and although it prints correctly the formatting can do strange things on screen e.g. 1) I have as a default 6pt before each paragraph, but in certain areas it appears as though this is applied to each line within the paragraph. I have revealed the formatting and compared it to paragraphs which do not display this behaviour and they are identical...except for a small square 'bullet' before affected portions when revealing the paragraph. I can find no mention of this symbol in the help file (although I may be looking in the wrong place) 2) Although the affected pages print correctly, the last few lines can disappear! If I move the cursor down (via the arrow keys) it reappears? I do have inline screen dumps using wrap tightly, but I don't think this is the cause as non-affected paragraphs also wrap around the pictures Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated. Excel can do angled headings; Word cannot. But you can rotate the text in
table cells. Just make your heading row deep enough to accommodate the dates
vertically and then use Text Direction to rotate it.
