    - All hidden special tags are being seen with braces Hello, I recently installed a software called TRADOS and then ENDNOTE on my Office 2007. - Now I have come up with this strange problem. All hidden tags (like page number, reference numbers of Endnote etc.) can be seen. For example page numbers do not contain numbers and only a {page } is seen in their place.     - Word 2007 Macro warnings Hi, I had a reverse issue from the known bug wherein Word warns you of non- existant macors. My user was NOT getting the document information bar warning under the ribbon. He was getting the pop instructionon how to change Trust Center settings, but nothing beyond that. I realized based on Beth Meltons' post that perhaps my user did not have the Visual Basic for Applications component installed. Sure enough, he didn't. Once that component was installed the security warning appeared in the information bar. I think this component did not get installed originally because there was a dependant component [ .Net2.0 ?] which also was not installed. SO, even though you select 'run all from my computer' on the top drop down during the office install, various sub-components *may* not install if dependent infrastructure is not already installed.     - Word 2007 - Page numbering styles Hi, I am a new 2007 user. I used the page number style box, which offered some quite nice ones, like the page number in a scroll in the centre at the bottom. The only problem is that I cannot shift it up. I can change the footer margins easily, and that moves the point where the footer commences up, but it won't move the actual scroll.     - Persistent error message word 2007 I havre a new Dell vostro that came with office pro 2007 preinstalled, running win XP. I have recently installed a new HP wireless printer. There was also a windows update which self installed at the same time. Since then I have had the same error message each time I close down word, (although not when I close down the files I am working with first - just each time I close the app itself).     - Themed Document and Section Breaks I'm trying to redo a document from Word 2003 to Word 2007. I want to take advantange of the new theming to make the document look more professional, but I'm having an issue with themes, formatting, and inserting section breaks. I created a customized template based on one of the standard themes, Equity Report, adding a TOC and tweaking colors and fonts only, and saved the template. I then created a new document based on my customized template. The problem started when I went to put a header on each page, starting with page 2 of my document. The first two pages are the cover page and the TOC. I ended up with the the header and footer starting with the TOC. I used to handle this in Word 2003 by adding sections, and starting the headers in the second section. My problem is that if I add a new section, I loose the theming on the new page. Any idea on how to add a section and keep my theme formatting ( borders etc.). SHouldn't this work similar to inserting a page break? Page breaks, incidentally, do keep the formatting.     - Messed-up table Several days ago I did a database and main doc for a merge. The merge came out fine. Today I looked at the database table, and several rows on each page appeared to be stacked on top of each other. When I printed it, they also printed on top of each other.     - Bullet style customizing Hello All I'm putting a vertical list of itmes into a column on a word table. I'd like Word to add a bullet to the left of each item with the bullet far let and only one space (or even no) between the bullet and the item. I open the bullet customize box and set everything for 0" (IE In "Text position": "Tab space after 0" and "Indent at 0".     - Changing the language preference for a document in Word 2007 I received a document, which I have to edit and add to. For some unknown reason, the language preference for this document is English (United States). I work in English (South Africa). My default language options under Word Options, Language, has been set to English (South Africa). but this has no effect. Obviously, this causes a lot of unnecessary stress, anger and frustration, when I have to cancel auto corrections, wait for the word to be shown as a spelling error, and then change the language - for that word only - to English (South Africa). And don't tell me to look on the review tab, because there is no option there to change the language settings. On the review tab the only language related options are Spelling & Grammar - to do a spell check, but not to change the document's language settings; Research, Thesaurus and Translate. Seems to me the only way to change this document will be to select each word, right click, select Language, and change it. When you block a word, a sentence, a paragraph or the document, and you right click, this Language option is not there. To be quite honest, I prefer Word 2002 and 2003! Set the text wrapping style to something other than In Line With Text.
Square is probably the best choice in this case.
