Hi, I am a new 2007 user. I used the page number style box, which offered
some quite nice ones, like the page number in a scroll in the centre at the
bottom. The only problem is that I cannot shift it up. I can change the
footer margins easily, and that moves the point where the footer commences
up, but it won't move the actual scroll. I am using A4 and half of the
scroll is cut off. I would just like to be able to shift it up a bit. Many
thanks in advance.

It's a graphic that you'll have to move manually by dragging or nudging. Or
you can set the position on the page using the usual tools; unfortunately,
Word doesn't offer a way to position a graphic relative to the header or
footer margin, just the top or bottom of the page or the top or bottom
margin.
