    - Footers in Word 2007 Hello, I'm working in a lengthy manual, using mirror margins so that the document has 2" of border on the outside of each portrait page. The doc will be printed front and back. My problem is that I am unsure how to format the footers. Currently, I am using first page, odd and even footers. Talk about a complicated doc! Additionally, the Appendix has landscape documents as well. The issues I am having are these: 1. The front matter is paginated with Roman numerals. They are not appearing sequentially--why? 2.     - Understanding Cookies 1. I visit a number of sites on a regular basis. Many require a login. Once I've entered the login information, the site creates a cookie in the cookie cache so that I don't have to log in on subsequent visits. So far - I follow the process. 2. Now, periodically I like to flush out all the other hundreds of cookies which sites have dropped into my cookie cache. But I want to retain the cookies for the sites I set up in step 1. But they are sccattered in the listing of hundreds of useless cookies. So here's what I tried. I created a folder called "Cookies-Hold". Into it, I manually copied the cookies from the desired sites. Then, several weeks later, when I flush all the cookies in the cache, I recopy the held cookies back into the main cookie cache. Seems logical to me that I should still be able to log in to those sites without problems. But in fact, these sites behave as though I was logging in as a new user. In other words, the old cookies don't do the job. Does this have to do with the dating of the cookies? In other words, Suppose Web Site XX placed its initial cookie on my system on January 1, and then later on March 5, I delete all the cookies in the cache and replace the site's cookie with the one it created on January 1. Will that old cookie not work?     - Delete Custom Toolbar Windows XP-Pro and Office 2003 A client of mine tried to create a new toolbar in Word. She made several attempts (naming them Toolbar 1 and Toolbar 2 and Toolbar 3).     - cannot create .doc file from my .dot file I have created a .dot file from scratch, and I have saved it into a "Templates" folder that I have created under my personal directory. Now, I try to "Save As" the .dot file as a .doc file, but I can't. Every time I attempt to do that, Word automatically adds a .dot extension after the .doc extension I type in, and that's because the "Save as type" box is disabled while it has the "Document Template (*.dot)" filled in it automatically.     - Different resolution shows I am using Word 2002. I have two versions of a one page A4 newsletter. When I attach these to an email one opens up at 61% and the other at 100%. Even when I go back and change the resolution to 100% and re-save it still opens at 61%. (The 61% is what I changed it to previously to try and view the page at actual size).     - HATE Word 2007 Somebody please create a skin or a way to get rid of the new and more helpful "ribbon". It is taking me five-times as long to create a document then before. Don't give me new graphic images to learn.... I want a down and dirty program where I set my preferences once and they are always there. The old drop down menus were more efficient and took up less space. I don't need pictures of where my page numbers are going to be! I don't need all the predesigned margin combinations. I know the difference between the words "left", "right", and "center", so please don't show me small screen shots of how the numbers will look. Give me, the user, more control of what I want done and how I want to do it and stop making things more "helpful". All the little graphic images are more distracting, not more helpful. Trying to LEARN what all the little imagea mean is like learning another language...I don't have the time or desire to learn a new language. Pepamom,
It allows you to search for particular documents with the same tag. In the
open dialogue, click next to the magnifying glass in the upper right corner
and type in the text of the tag. You will get all the documents that have
the same tag in the listing. At least that's how I interpret it.
