    - requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way? Hello, A user of my web site has downloaded a MS Word zipped file to his hard disk. He unzips it using the Windows XP facility but when he double clicks on the Word document, instead of it being opened by MS Word he gets following error meessage, "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.     - General Help On Printing Hello All, May this is not the perfect newsgroup. Can anybody please give your suggestion if you have faced this problem. I have hp laser jet 2200d printer. I want a bilingual arabic printout on a legal size paper. I selected the legal size paper in the page setup. PrintPreview is Ok fine. But I am getting some junk characters in the prinout after print. Why this actuall happen. I think this is printer setup problem. Is i have to configure the printer driver to get a arabic printout on legal size paper. Can anybody please explain me in detail.     - Appointment book...how to design in Word2003 every year I run around looking for an aoppointment book to fit the hours I work (usually use week at-a-glance but I really need a full Sat and Sun day schedule). I have printshop21....but the idea of putting a time at every line and copy that to each day...plus it won't let me print to the edge of the page (new version may). I need to make a grid, have thicker and thinner lines to sep. hours and 1/4 hour segments and make the lines in shades of grey (something else I can't do in PS)...if the time spent changing each columns date will be OK in light of having a book fit to my needs (I say so now anyway)....     - Need help with Undo Automatic Numbering Need to know how to disable this function. I work with Word daily and number by hand my items such as: 1. John Smith 1234 Main St Anywhere USA 10000 2. and so on but when I get to the 2nd and 3rd lines, the undo automatic number shows up and I have to right click and cancel, but it keeps coming back! I am indenting the lines and do not use the tab to do this, I do it by hand so that might be causing the problem. Can't seem to figure out how to use the tabs either. Thanks in advance..     - Title query I have just created a new document in Word 2003 by modifying another, and saving it with a new filename And Page Heading. I notice that when I hover over it in Windows Explorer I am shown a Title, which is the previous filename, that of the original file. How would I delete this?     - document view looks like an email I opened a document that someone else worked on, and it looks like it's ready to be sent as an email. It has fields for an email across the top and I can't get rid of it. The document is where the body of the message would be. I even tried to send it to myself ... my attempt to free the document from the email portion, but I can't do it. I don't really want to create a new document, but might have to.     - Mail Merge and Graphic Insertion in OL/Word Hello, All! I am creating a picture directory using Outlook and mail merge. I have all of the pictures available on my hard drive so I can do the mail merge and then insert the respective picture for each directory entry. However, it would be nice if the MM feature from OL supported the graphic in the OL Contacts. Maybe it does and I haven't discovered how. So this prompts 2 questions: 1. Is there a way to mail merge the picture in each contact entry along with the other pertinent name/address/etc.? 2. Assuming there is not and I have to insert individual pictures into the finalized mail merge I have a different issue. I have to resize every individual picture after I insert it into Word.     - Hope not OT, Converting to pdf files Using Adobe Acrobat Version 6 I convert Word Docs to pdf files. I send out these files customers and most can open and read them. However around 5% say in the email body is a mass of gobbledy gook and can't open or read the file.. I see on my Adobe software it is saved to be backward compatible to be read by version 5 onwards and wondered if the recipient had an earlier version it would cause the problem. I could change the settings to make it further backward compatible but it seem to balloon the file size. Any help appreciated and sorry if not quite the right NG but couldn't find any other.
