Slow opening of Word

Office 2003 Pro on Windows 2003 Server.

My Office Word application is extremely slow to open. I would like to =
find the reason for this. All my other Office applications open as =
intended but not Word. Although when once open it works flawlessly

Can anybody put me in the right direction to correct this small annoying =
issue.

It is rare - extremely rare - that slow opening is not caused by one or more
of the problems listed in the FAQ. Did you delete all normal.dots and
normal.dotx? Did you delete and reinstall the printer driver? Did you check
for add-ins? Did you test in safe mode? (What was the result in Safe Mode?)
