In a page of normal text in Word2000 can I drag the mouse over a vertical
rectangular area, enclosing the line content that is to the right of a
particular screen position and then delete that area, which could be a
method of removing all text from each line to the right of a particular
vertical screen position?
In other words the text looks as tho it is in columns of a table, and I want
to delete the right hand column.
However it is not in columns in a table.

TIA

Hi Brian,

Yes, you can. Hold down the ALT key, then click and drag your
mouse.
