whenever I open Word 2003, I get 2 pop-up windows:

First: window:

The command coannot be performed because a dialog box is open. Click OK, and
then close open dialog boxes to continue.

Second window:

Security Warning
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\STARTUP\PDFMaker.dot"

contains macros by
Adobe Systems Incorporated

It goes on to say more and it gives me an option to disable the macros. What
should I do to get rid of it? Disable the macros? Will I lose any
functionality?

Thanks!!!

You need to reinstall Acrobat, preferably the latest version, in order to
install the version of the add-in that will work with Word 2003.
