Word 2003 being used I am trying to create a numbered list.
First number is 1. I type my text, press enter and get a 2. If I press
Tab, I believe I am supposed to get a. but instead am just getting a 1/2 inch
tab space to the right. Even stranger, if I press Shift + Tab, I get another
1/2 tab to the right.
I have recreated Normal.dot, which did not help.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Sorry about blank, press Enter in error.
Detect and Repair corrected the problem for now at least.
