Using Office 2007. In a Word document when I insert a graphic/picture/shape
I want it to stay where I insert it and not move. I have tried to anchor it,
but that doesn't work. I can set the text to wrap around it but when I hit
ENTER to start a new paragraph the object move. Thanks.

In the Advanced Layout dialog box, clear the option to "Move with text."

To display the dialog box: On the context ribbon (called Drawing Tools
Format, Picture Tools Format etc. depending on the type of object selected),
click Text Wrapping in the Arrange group, and then click More Layout
Options.

Note also that an object will always display on the same page as that of its
anchor.
