Footer help please

Hi all

I have created a 40 page document and added automatic numbering in the
footer,

When I print or Print preview it cuts off part of the number . Any ideas
please im desperate to sort this tonight

Hi Jules:

In Page Setup go to the bottom where it says "From
Edge". Adjust the footer value until the footer shows.
You can go to Print Preview to see if the value is
alright.

Julian

Your footer is in the unprintable region of the printer. Check the settings
for both the BOTTOM and FOOTER margins under File, Page Setup and increase
them to the minimum margin offered by your printer.

Hi Suzanne:

I read your article. I have been in companies where both
inkjets and laser printers are used on a Lan (they
usually give the tech people the inkjets). To insure
printing on all printers, I use the method you descibe
for each Lan printer. I then select the smallest print
area (largest margins) as margins for the document. It
works like a charm and I have had no problems with
printing on any Lan printer, unless they add a printer to
the Lan (and that has happened).
