    - Turning off spelling and grammar prompts Hello All How does one turn off those little red and green squiggly lines in MS Word that incidicates spelling and grammar problems. And if I turn them off and email the document, will the person to opens the document see them anyway?     - Mailing Labels grief Here's the problem: Started with a table to allow for 8 - 2.5" x 4" labels in 2 columns with narrow margins between labels. Each label also includes a table row for return address and one for address. (Just like Avery 5163.) Now enter a return address and a mailing address in the top left cells (formatted center/center). And for a finishing touch insert an auto shape (rectangle with rounded corners) in the return cell. Format the auto shape for hor/vert center, full transparency. As soon as I drag the shape into a cell, the text jumps to the top of the cell. Nothing I do to shape or text will remedy the situation. As soon as I drag the shape away again the text jumps back to the center of the cell. This was going to be quick and dirty but is turning into a frustration.     - annoying line spacing problem... this started somehow, and i cant fix it: every time I open a new document, the line will start at the top, like normal, but I press the enter/return key to skip to the next line, and it skips lines. the text cursor will skip all the way to the bottom or to the middle of the document (page) with one press of the return key.     - Password recovery for MSWord I recently lost a password to a MSword document i had saved and while trying to figure out a way to recover the password i came across these instructions on numerous websites: 1.) Open a protected document in MS Word 2.) Save as "Web Page (*.htm; *.html)", close Word 3.) Open html-document in any Text-Editor 4.) Search "<w:UnprotectPassword>" tag, the line reads something like that: <w:UnprotectPassword>ABCDEF01</w:UnprotectPassword> 5.) Keep the "password" in mind 6.) Open original document (.doc) with any hex-editor 7.) Search for hex-values of the password (reverse order!) 8.) Overwrite all 4 double-bytes with 0x00, Save, Close 9.) Open document with MS Word, Select "Tools / Unprotect Document" (password is blank) Apperently this is a loophole someone discovered that allows anybody to gain access to a protected word or excel document. But why the hell would you be hacking into a protected document to change the password if you can already open it to begin with?? This is so stupid. If anybody can help me with this, i would be greatly appreciated. What do you mean by 'originally saved in English, but now in Chinese'? Word
has no function to save different language versions of documents - in fact
all computer translated documents are little better than gibberish.
Use the same translator to translate it back again?
