Copy a picture, colour problem.

Can anybody tell me, why, when I copy a picture from a website, to word, it
displays fine, I copy the picture from word to Paint Shop Pro, it drops down
to something like 16 colours? why?

Tia,

Its more than likely because most pic's in web pages are
set at 256 colors or lower. This is to help with faster
downloads. You may need to contact the webmaster or the
person that produced the web page to see if you can get
the picture your are wanting in true color.
