For an unknown reason, all of a sudden my compositions in Word end up with
paragraph marks at the end of each paragraph and dots between each word.
Obviously I have accidentally checked something in options that I should not
have checked. Can someone point me in the correct direction, please? Thank
you.

Hit the ¶ button on your toolbar one time. (Some of us always work with the
non-printing characters turned on.)
