Hi group -

I created a table in Word 2000. In one of the cells, I'd like to have the
date automatically updated whenever the file is opened..I know how to do
this in Excel, but not in Word.

Can someone help me please?

Thanks in advance,
Newtechie

Insert a date field. CTRL+F9 and inside the { } type DATE. Right click,
update field.

Alt+Shift+D will also insert a DATE field in the format you have selected as
the default in the Insert | Date and Time dialog.
