word 2007 message "file is not available"

I am using word 2007 b2tr, and whenever i try to open a file, from any folder
(my documents) even files created with word 2007, i receive a message stating
"the file "file name" is not available.

If you're using Symantec/Norton AntiVirus, try disabling the
Office Plugin that comes with it. See
