I don't know what to tell you other make sure you do not have a lot of other
programs open. Have you tried restarting your computer? I have found this
will clear up many problems. Also, you might try copying the text into a
"new" Word document, save often, and try closing and reopening once in awhile
like Suzanne suggested. I was working in Word with Media Player and Outlook
open. I exited both of them and now am back to having Media Player open and
so far have no problems. My document is over 100 pages and all text, but I
work with this type of document all the time. I always use Word to reformat
to reduce the size of a document. Like I said, I NEVER had the problem with
Word 2000.
