Hi Claudia,
Microsoft suggests you install from the earliest version to the latest
version. However I installed Office 97 after Office XP and didn't
encounter any problems other than an expected "invalid license" error
in Access.
Should you run into that problem see this KB:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=141373
Note you should change the default installation folder and if you do
encounter minor problems in Word 2002 run "Detect and Repair" under
the Help menu.
Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup. Requests for
assistance by email can not be acknowledged.
