how do i unlock word 2007

hi, i just read a whole bunch of threads on unlocking word 2007. i just
installed the new s/w last night and today had planned to type my school
assignments that are due tonight. I cannot get type in word. I tried going
to c:\documentsandsettings\arichard\application data\microsoft\templates to
rename, but i only can get as far as microsoft, there is not a templates
folder. what do i do? pls advise. tks, audrena

Have you activated the product? The Templates folder, BTW, will be a hidden
one; you'll have to set Windows to display hidden and system folders in
order to see it.
