When I do a Find, even after I close the dialog or click Cancel, my Next Page
button (the double down arrows in the bottom right corner beneath the
document scroll bar) gives me the Find result (i.e. "MS has finished
searching the document...") instead of advancing to the next page. How do I
get Find to cease so I can use the Next and Previous page buttons again?

Click the round button between the arrow buttons and reselect Page as the
browse object.
