Why is text of old document repeatedly present when I open MS Word

I have tried clearing clipboard, no results. I have tried defragging and disc
cleanup, no results. I have tried 'select all' and then 'delete' and STILL
when I try to open a new and fresh page to create a new document the text of
an old document long ago copied and saved under its own specific title is
pre-inserted.

Please give me instruction as to where this might be 'hiding' so that from
now on when I use WORD it will open a clean page for me to create a document
vs. my having to 'clean' the page of this OLD document.

Somehow, your normal.dot file got overwritten. Try the "Troubleshooting
Normal.dot" at:
