If you created a new document in Word and verified the font color was set to
Black (not Automatic) and sent the document to the printer and still nothing
printed, what about the reverse? Did you also try a document that uses the
Automatic font color? It could be your black ink is clogged and the other
programs are using a blend of colors to create black. I know I keep
suggesting this but this is usually the most common reason for getting a
piece of paper printed out but either no text or only some text on it.
Another situation we've encountered is those using a dark background and
white text - in that case white font on white paper doesn't work too well.
;-)
If you've tried both of the above then did you try updating your printer
driver? Also, when you do print, is the print head moving across the paper
as though it is attempting to print the content?
