why do menus automatically drop down in word with out clicking

why do menus automatically drop down in word with out
clicking on them, i am not able to use the program
because the menus just keep dropping when typing or
moving the mouse. why does this happen and how do i fix
it?

It's crying out for lack of punctuation in your documents :-)

You may also have turned on Tools > Speech on.
