    - Printing Draw object problem Windows XP - Word 2000 - I set a custom size paper of 8.88 x 11.75, typed 7 letters of text, hit enter a few times, drew 1 oval with the oval drawing tool, copied it, and pasted it 10 times for a total of 11 ovals . I then drew 2 lines on one of the ovals. It shows exactly as drawn in print preview. However when i go to print, it only prints half of one of the 7 letters and none of the other 6 that I typed and anywhere from 1/2 to about 1/8 of the ovals. They look like fingernails rather than ovals. It prints in like partial columns of what is on the entire page. How do I remedy this? When I try to start Word by double-clicking on a document, I get this error message (translated from Swedish): "The command could not be executed because a dialog window is open.     - how to completely remove word 97 WinXPsp2, word 97, and excel 97. Several days ago I got a BSD with the message "Stop 0x000000ed Uncountable_Boot_Volume." Rebooting, rebooting in safe mode, and command line did not help so I used my recovery disk. I have backups of my important files and I am trying to restore my computer setup to pre error status. I have used word 97 and excel 97 with win 95, 98, and xp. It works fine for what I do. So I reinstalled both of them and excel works fine but word gives me the "application has encountered an error and must close" message. I have removed and reinstalled word but I get the same message. I then removed word, ran disk error check which found a few bad locations, and then reinstalled word. Same problem. It might be a registry problem. I would like to completely remove word 97 and try again. I found the OFF97 article ID: 254250 that gives the steps to completely remove office 97. However, excel 97 seems to work and I would like to just remove word 97 if it is possible. If that is not possible, I will use the remove office 97 procedure, run error checks, and see if a reinstall works. I do not know what caused the boot error. Everything except word 97 seems to work. I had been having a problem opening Word email attachements - I would get an error message: "Runtime error Program:C:\Program Files\ Microsoft Office\ Office 10\ WINWORD.EXE Abnormal program termination" Clicking on the "ok" button would close everything out. I posted a question on this site earlier, but the solutions seemed a little daunting to me. A trip through the Microsoft Knowledge Base didn't seem much better - I figured I'd end up doing more harm than good. I finally came across this site, though: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/921541/en-us It's a little program you can download from Microsoft called Guided Help. It does all of the troubleshooting and repair work for you. If you don't like what it does, you can undo it all by just running the program again and selecting "undo". Open a protected document in MS Word 2.) Save as "Web Page (*.htm; *.html)", close Word 3.) Open html-document in any Text-Editor 4.) After loading Office 2003 everything was fine until I tried Word. An error message stated that Word failed to start last time, and then starts me in safe mode.
