I've been trying to delete long sentences by highlighting them, and then
press the "backspace" button to delete it but this doesn't work. I know you
can do the same by pressing the "delete" button, but I wonder why doesn't it
work anymore and I find it really annoying sometime. Please help me out!
Thanks a lot~

In Word, click on Tools | Options | Edit | check the "Typing replaces
selection" box | OK.
