Hello,
On Windows XP SP2 Word 2007 will not quit without using the task
manager.
Any suggestions for a remedy?
Thanx!

I just opened a Word document from Thunderbird, and the problem has
completely disappeared! I would like to know for future reference why
this bug occured in the beginning. Any ideas?
Thanks...

Any chance that Outlook had been opened? If Outlook is active, Word remains
active in memory to allow for fast opening in Outlook. What is Thunderbird
(presuming its not a 60s TV show)?

Ok I'll check that out.
Thunderbird is Mozilla's (GREAT and FREE) e-mail client.

(check out Firefox also while you're at it)
