Word quietly crashes when more than one doc is open.

Tutorials Win: Microsoft Windows Forum

I'm using Word 2003, on XP Professional. Whenever I switch between 2 open
Word docs, Word shuts down. No error message appears, the docs and program
just disappear. When I reopen Word, my docs have been autorecovered. Doesn't
seem to cause any harm, but it's getting annoying.

Any suggestions?

After removing the hw recog tool (and I had to restart the computer), the
issue seems to be resolved.
