I am currently working on a project that writes to a word doc. In one step,
I call the Word.doc that I have already created and saved onto the pc. When
calling the Word.doc I get a microsoft warning message "The file "name".doc
is not available.

What causes this warning message? Is it not finding it? Is it not
available, because the Word.doc is already open? Any information on this
warning message would be very helpful. thanks!

If you use Symantec/Norton AntiVirus, try disabling the Office Plugin
that comes with it. See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=329820 "How
to use Office programs with the Norton AntiVirus Office plug-in" for
more information.

Does that mean that every computer that using the program I'm creating will
have to disable this? Seems a bit much, is there any other work around?

Also, it's the antivirus software causing this warning? Or is there another
reason behind it?
