When I click on Insert | Cover Page, I immediately get an error
message:

Word cannot open this document template. (C"\..\1033\Building
Blocks.dotx)

I thought it might be related to having some of the beta's on this
workstation, so I removed all of the office products and reinstalled
fresh and it still happens.

Any suggestions? This is with Office 2007 Enterprise Edition.

Thanks,

Richard

The problem is with the legacy building Blocks.dotx from the beta build.
Uninstalling does not remove that file. Search for it and rename it Building
Blocks.bad. Word will create a new version when needed.

Fantastic. That solved my problem (and other places where the drop
down didn't work correctly!).

Thank you.

Also note you need to either delete or move the old Building Blocks file in
order to completely disable it.

Renamining it will cause Word to create a new Building Blocks.dotx but the
renamed Building Blocks file will continue to load as well which could cause
unnecessary delay the first time you access any Building Blocks gallery
since more than one file is opening.
