Winword.exe Instruction error

Good day,

I am running Office 97 pro. on W2K on a laptop. When
opening the application while online(on the network) it
opens with no problem. As soon as I disconnect from the
network it comes up the instruction error. Winword.exe
Instruction at "0x6061fdc3" memory could not be read. I
have uninstalled Office, and deleted all the folders in
Explorer 5.5. restarted and reinstalled, It still wont
work. Can somebody PLEASE help me.

To all those that are interested. I spoke to one or the
Engineers at Microsoft. The problem is, that my default
printer is a network printer. After I changed it to a non
network printer, the error is gone.
