When attempting to use Insert Symbol (i.e., to add an
accent to the letter 'e') MS Word produces a dialog box
saying, "MS Word has encountered a problem and needs to
close". It proceeds to ask if you want to make an error
report to Microsoft. This feature has worked for me in
the past. Anyone have a solution?

How many fonts do you have installed?

Apparently too many. I'm not sure exactly how one
determines how many are installed; however, I manage
extra fonts with Extensis Suitcase, when I turned it off
I was able to use Insert Symbol.

Thank you.
