Thanks for any help in advance,

I had Office 2000 Professional installed on my PC, which
is using Windows 2000 Professional, and it

was working fine. I wanted to updated my SQL Server from 7
to 2000, but when I did so, I received

the following error message when attemtping to save
changes in a Word doc:
Program Error
Winword.exe has generated errors and will be closed by
Windows. You will need to restart the

program. An error log is being created.

So I uninstalled both Office 2000 Pro & SQL Server 2000,
and reinstalled them both. But I'm still

getting that error message. I even tried uninstallin SQL
Server 2000, and reinstalling SQL Server 7,

but the same thing happened.

Can anyone help me to figure out what's going on? I'm
confused, and I don't know how to solve this.

Thanks.

KWilliams

Deleting the temp file is a good idea and certainly doesn't hurt, but it
doesn't help much, either. See these articles for some other ideas:
