Have lost Outlook mail and history after reinstalling Word 2003 ...

Reinstalling should not change anything. Why did you reinstall Word 2003? Is
Outlook part of the Office 2003 suite or a standalone install?

Hi thanks.
Outlook was part of the Office 2003 suite.
I believe that the info is still there as I have no addresses in address
book but when I start to send an e.mail the old mail addresses pop up.
I have no saved items or address book in Outlook at present?

SO the name cache is working and still inserts the address. If you look at
Contacts, I think it has somehow started looking at the wrong list. There
should be a drop down at the top of the page somewhere for Contacts to look
in the correct list (I've not got 2003 to check back in).

Hi Terry
There is nothing in the contacts drop down box ?
I believe the info is there somewhere as when I start a new e.mail and type
the first letter, say T, a list of mail recipients appears, starting with T.

Take this to an OUTLOOK Newsgroup. This is for Word.
