Have Windows ME that contains Star Office and Presentations; not Microsoft
Word or PowerPoint. How can I convert to or download these programs? Thanks
in advance!

These programs are not free. Sorry. You may want to look into Open Office.

Just download the freeware OpenOffice at www.openoffice.org, that will
absolutely be able to open all kind of StarOffice documents! After opening
these documents you can use the file command "Save as..." to save them as
Office documents. That's all!

Good luck!

Thanks for replies; I went to OpenOffice and the download time kept
increasing-when it got to 5+ hours I figured it was probably too large for my
old computer program. Will look into it again.

OpenOffice is very often put on a cd/dvd, issued by many magazines like PC
Magazine and others. You might buy a magazine with the cd/dvd, and thus avoid
the large download of OpenOffice. Just install OpenOffice from the cd/dvd,
and you're done!
