I am getting the message that Microsoft Word interface is not registered when
I try to send a new email using Word as the editor. If I try to forward an
email I receive, then I get the message that Word is required as the email
editor but Word is either busy or cannot be found. The form will be opened
in the Outlook editor instead. An OLE registration error occurred.

Click on Start | Run. In the "Open" box, type:

regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\ole32.dll

You only have to run this command once (not every time you start the
computer). Exit. Reboot. Do you still get the error message?

pbrew,

Here are a few additional quesitons that will help us to ID the issue:
1) What version of Word? What version of Outlook?
2) Do you have Works installed along with Office?
3) Do you have multiple versions of Office installed on this machine?
4) Can you copy and paste from Word to other applications?

Thank you!
