Hello,
The error header message is:
Microsoft Word for Windows 95 application file has encountered a
problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Error report contains:
AppName: winword.exe AppVer 7.0.9.4311 ModName: mso95.dll
Modver 7.0.0.1907 Offeset: 001dcca
There is a more detailed report Exception Information listing 15
modules, but it cannot be copied to post here.
The errors all occur when saving the files after any change (enter
key to add a space) to both their original or a new location and then
word will close. Not all files cause the error. For instance, I have
several versions of a resume which are all very similar. They are
saved in the same location with different file name and the most
recent files cause the error. A new document with some minimal
characters will not cause an error.
Add-ins are from the install disk are bsh32.wll and msreftlw.wll. No
Office updates were done.
Same result if I open with Winword.exe /A command.
One last error I found. I don't know if this is related, but after the
word install all the bullet symbols in a document paragraph are
incorrect. They appear as open top boxes rather than dots. The other
symbols test out OK.
