Each time I start Word I get the message "invalid or unsupported language." I
click OK and everything functions properly. But I would like this message to
go away. Does someone know of a setting I can change so that I won't
experience this message everytime I start Word?

What version of Word is this? It sounds either like an AutoExec macro is
misfiring (possibly from an add-in) or as if Word is trying to load an
invalid file of some kind from the Startup folder.

You might take a look here to see if the steps can help you isolate the
problem:

I'm using Word 2003 as part of Office 2003 Professional. I am running on
Hebrew Windows with an English interface. The program starts up with Hebrew
as the default language (again, with English interface). Once I click OK
everything works fine, I would just like to stop receiving the error message
everytime I startup Word.
