helped. In fact, by letting another application window, or even the Taskbar
(in auto hide mode), take the focus before the Symbol Dialog Box, then the
focus works ok in the Symbol Dialog Box. I have the time set to 200 ms for
the x-mouse in TweakUI and the Autoraise feature is enabled too. Again, this
workaround is quite simple as I simply move the cursor to the Taskbar before
I select a character. Thanks!!
