Word 2003, XP.

A 33-page Word document with section breaks for portrait-landscape changes
and alpha-numeric page numbers in the appendices. An attempted Word-to-PDF
conversion resulted in complete conversion of the text and figures, but
incomplete conversion of the page numbers. Page numbers disappeared after the
first portrait-to-landscape change (page 6). The numbers only reappeared in
Appendix B, and then only on odd-numbered pages (B-1, B-3, B-5, and so on).

What should be done to ensure that all the page numbers appear in the PDF
version?

Thanks.

Hi Wallace,

This could be a problem with your pdf distiller, rather than anything to do with Word. If the document prints OK from Word, then
it's unlikely to be a Word problem.

Cheers
