I'm running Office XP on my computer, and at one
time, "Naturally Speaking" was installed on the
computer I'm using. I've removed the program, but when I
open Word or start by computer, I recieve error messages
telling me that dgnword.dll is not an acceptable
office addin, and it tells me that Word has a dialog
open. If I open Word in its safe mode, I don't get these
errors. I tried searching for dgnword.dll on my
computer, but it's not there. I know practically nothing
about computers, so please help me with the most
simplified help you can give.

Naturally Speaking is a product of Dragon Software (hence the
"dgnword.dll"), although it's changed hands a few times in recent years.

1. Check any entries under Tools > Templates and Addins
2. When performing a disk search, make sure you include hidden and system
files (an advanced option) as software files (rather than user documents)
are usually excluded from the default search.

I did as you suggested, but could not find anything. I
am not sure why I'm still getting these errors when the
program is uninstalled.

I tried the website, but I did not find it much help in
trying to remove the error. It was more geared toward
fixing problems and keeping the program.
