The latter part of August, I installed Microsoft Office
2003 Service Pack 1. Within approximately a week, I
installed Windows XP Service Pack 2.
Since that combination of installations, I encounter this
nag when I attempt to open a Word document:
<quote>
The command cannot be performed because a dialog box is
open. Click OK,
and then close open dialog boxes to continue.

[ OK ]
<end quote>
No dialog boxes are open, and clicking OK causes the
notification to go
away , after which the Word document opens.
This is an irritant that I would like to have go away.
Is there a fix for this? Your answer would be
appreciated.

Using Norton Anti Virus? Disable the Office Plug-in under NAV options.

Hi Terry,
Yes, running NAV 2004. Following your instruction
corrected the problem. Thanks!
Augusta
