Hi Mark,

MS Word cannot open picture files such as JPEGs. You can use Insert=>Picture from File to insert them into an open document or copy
and paste them into Word.

If your Word installation has become damaged then Word may be trying to use an unmatched 'setup.exe' file from another program on
your computer.
