Cannot save in Word. System locks up. Help

I am unable to save an open document. In the save panel as soon as I click on
the file i want to save to the apllication locks up. I can only get out of it
through End Task in Task Manager. Help

I am having the same problem. I cannot "save as" in Word. Sometimes I
cannot open My Documents either. This just started happening in the last few
days.
