Big Al was right on target. I changed the viewer on the new system to what
it was on the old one and everything's at least peaceful, even if I can't
view the thumbnails of the NEF files. Since I always shoot raw + jpg
whenever I shoot raw I always can see what the image looks like before I
open it in Nikon's software.
