I get a list of Newsgroups, but I get no idea how to join them.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

What do you mean, "how to join them"? You don't have to join anything, just
read and post freely, within the stated or implied limits of discussion for
the group.

With Outlook Express when you have newsgroups listed...

1. "Goto" mean that messages from that group will be loaded and OE will go
to them so you can read/post. After you leave the read/post window the
newsgroup name will not be retained under the news server name in OE's
folder pane.

2. "Subsctibe" meand the same thing except that newsgroup name WILL BE
retained under the news server name in OE's folder pane so that clicking on
it in the future will download new messages and allow you to read/post to
them.

Ramesh

That's one of the best links on the topic I have seen. A small thing to
improve productivity is the Ctrl +H shortcut to toggle between Show All
Messages and Replies to my messages. I do appreciate the site belongs to
Michael Stevens.
